ScaleX: Accelerator to support market-ready startups

GUSEC, with the support of Industries Commissionerate, Government of Gujarat and in partnership with MeitY Startup Hub (MSH), introduces ScaleX, a five-to-seven-week accelerator program for market-ready startups based/incorporated in Gujarat. Startups will be selected basis the best innovative solutions across a host of sectors, with preference being given to startups supported under Startup Gujarat. Selected startups will get access to an accelerated mentorship program along with a number of benefits listed below.

Applications of ScaleX Accelerator will get a host of support from GUSEC with Industries Commissionerate, Government of Gujarat and MeitY Startup Hub, including cloud credits, accelerated mentorship program, networking, connections, etc.

Additional Funding Opportunities

Opportunity to raise seed funding / funding opportunities through private funding, investor, connects, etc.

Accelerated Mentorship

10 startups to be selected for the accelerator program who shall undergo accelerated mentorship sessions

Cloud Costs

Startups selected under the Accelerator shall get access to Cloud Credits up to $1,00,000 via GUSEC partners viz. Oracle for Startups, Digital Ocean, etc.

Online Tools

Exclusive access to digital tools like Canva, Biteable, Envato Elements, etc and other scalability enhancing tools like HubSpot, Msg91, etc.

Connections

Networking with a variety of public, non-profit and private bodies such as project-implementing government departments, NGOs and industries

Infrastructure

Laboratory and infrastructural support, wherever necessary

Owing to the ongoing pandemic situation around the globe, ScaleX shall be a 100% virtual program with the following structure

What are the requirements if I am selected for the ScaleX Accelerator?

The selected startups will be required to attend the 5 to 7-week accelerator program, as well as agree to the terms, conditions and rules of ScaleX detailed here.

What is the timeline of the program?

The application window will close on July 11, 2021
The shortlisted startups will be announced by the third week of July 2021.
The accelerator program will begin by end of July 2021 and shall continue till mid-September 2021.
The program will conclude with virtual pitching, which shall happen in the first week of October 2021.
