Gujarat University Startup and Entrepreneurship Council (GUSEC) is a non-profit, autonomous and independent company registered under the section 8(1)(a) of the Companies Act 2013, promoted by Gujarat University to support student startups, student entrepreneurship, and student innovations. GUSEC is supported by the National Science and Technology Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India; Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India; Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP) of Education Department, Government of Gujarat; and the Gujarat Industrial Policy 2015 of Government of Gujarat.
