Scheme Overview

Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP) 2.0 is an initiative of the Education Department, Government of Gujarat, aimed at nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship among students. Through GUSEC, eligible students receive funding, mentorship, incubation, and technical guidance to convert innovative ideas into viable products and startups.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Any currently enrolled student (School/College/University) or recent graduate (up to 5 years from graduation) from Gujarat.
  • The proposal must represent an original creative idea, research model, or innovative technological prototype.
  • Applications must be routed through or backed by recognized educational institutes or university incubation centers like GUSEC.
