GUSEC Techcelerate
GUSEC Techcelerate is a startup accelerator supported by the NSTEDB, Dept of Science and Technology, Govt of India. The accelerator focuses on four key areas: Fintech, Healthtech, Cleantech and Edtech and would support tech-enabled startups to scale their efforts to the next level of their enterprise creation.
The accelerator program includes dedicated one-to-one coaching, networking opportunities with investors, as well as access to funding from GUSEC of up to ₹50 lakh in investments. The startups in the accelerator also stand to win prize money of upto ₹10 lakhs.

GUSEC Techcelerate: The Accelerator Program
Startups selected in the accelerator will go through a 10-week of accelerator program which will include one-to-one dedicated mentorship, group mentorship, progress review, skill-building, networking, business coaching and prize money up to ₹10 lakhs. Startups would also get access to a variety of resources such as:
- Funding access of up to ₹50 lakhs
- Follow on funding support from the GUSEC investors network
- Up to $100K in cloud credits
- On-demand mentorship and guidance
- Technology resources
- Networking and facilitation
Preference will be given to startups and ideas in the following sectors for this acceleration program.

Program Timeline
Techcelerate starts on July 19th, 2022. The last date to apply is August 9th, 2022, after which a shortlist of startups for the accelerator will be announced in End of August. The accelerator will run for approximately 9 weeks from the last week of August to the first week of December, followed by Demo day with a closing ceremony in December 2022.

What is the duration of GUSEC Techcelerate?
The duration of the Accelerator is proposed as approximately three months, once shortlisted.
What will be the selection process for startups using best practices?
The startup application will be shortlisted if it meets the eligibility criteria and falls within the mentioned sectors. Preference will be given to the growth-based startup.
When will the demo day take place? What will be the nature of the demo day?
The Demo Day will be scheduled for December 2022 and shall be held in an offline mode or hybrid (Subject to change) with direct interaction with Angel Investors and VCs.
