My Story – Motivational Session by Successful Innovators

About Event

GUSEC hosted a session for college students from different departments of the university to build awareness about Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and starting up. The session was taken by startup founders who also mentioned their startup journey. Further Mr. Malay Shukla, Mrs. Harsiddhi and Startup Janki Shah – Codots briefed students about how support is given to students by GUSEC and AIC GUSEC and startup interaction about their journey. 

 

Objective

The objective of the program is to share the journey of start-up and its founder in terms of the challenges he faced and how he overcame from those challenges. The founder also mentioned about the role of university incubator and their support which helped him to grow his business.

Activities performed:

In the session, the speaker shared information about basics of entrepreneurship, startups and how they pursue their startup journey, what are the phases of startup, challenges they have faced and how are they managing the startup. The speaker also shares how a startup works along with the facilities available for the students on the campus in the form of incubation centres. 

Outcome:

The outcome of this event is to spread knowledge about entrepreneurship and the startup ecosystem and show how to take startups as a career option for students while studying. Also to orient the students about entrepreneurship and startup, how they work, and how the student can pursue the same.
